Cattle Colonies; Meet The Igbo Man Who Breeds Cows And See How He Does It. Photos Following the trending Fulani herdsmen issue which has been rocking the country for some time now, sixteen Nigerian states have agreed to establish cattle colonies proposed by the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Chief Audu Ogbeh as a solution to the incessant herdsmen crisis. It was gathered that some 16 states, all in the North, have volunteered land for the establishment of cattle colonies in their domain. Now a Facebook user, Uche Ezeigbo, has introduced an Igbo cattle rearer identified as Mr Tony Alika-Igwebuike, who breeds his cattle in a ranch he built by himself after much investment. Photos Troops of Nigerian Army on internal security operations deployed at Akwanga highway Nasarawa State, yesterday  Wednesday 10th January 2018, arrested a suspected gun runner, Mohammed Bello, in an Opel Vectra Saloon Car with the fabricated guns heading to Saminaka to link up with his gang leader Damina Saminaka. During preliminary interrogation the suspect claimed to purchase the weapons for Thirty Thousand Naira (N30,000.00k), from a blacksmith gun fabricator named Dan Asabe Audu, who reside at Angbo Village, Wamba Local Government Area of Nasarawa State. Fake Soldier Arrested By Troops While Harassing Civilians In Lagos. Photos One Mr. Pascal Philip who goes about impersonating soldiers and molesting hapless and unsuspecting civilians at Isawo area of Ikorodu, Lagos State – was arrested and taken into custody by troops of 174 Battalion, 9 Brigade Nigerian Army, on Tuesday 10th January 2018…. The Suspect who was arrested while molesting innocent civilians in Isawo falsely claimed to be a personnel of 174 Battalion, Nigerian Army. He was arrested dressed in camouflage T-shirt molesting, extorting and intimidating law abiding civilians in the area. The suspect is currently under going further interrogation and would soon be handed over to the police for further investigation and prosecution.

Chelsea Star, Kante Crashes His Car After Collision With Lorry On His Way To Stamford Bridge. Photos Chelsea star N’Golo Kante crashed his car on Wednesday – but still took time for selfies with fans. The £32million midfielder, 26, was on his way to Stamford Bridge for the clash with Arsenal when he had a collision with a lorry. A fan filmed him exchanging details with the other driver and inspecting the damage near the ground in King’s Road, west London. The humble player has shunned flashy motors and kept his £20,000 Mini Cooper S despite earning £110,000 a week. The fan said: “His wing mirror was smashed and his front wheel arch was all dented. “He must have been pretty annoyed but he was more than happy for fans to take selfies with him.”

30 Shoemakers From Abia Begin Their Training In China With The Latest Equipment. Photos Thirty shoe makers from Abia State have begun their training in China in order to enhance their skills and set up Abia State Automated Shoe factory in Aba. The trainees are being taught with the latest range of shoe making equipment and technology in a bid to make lasting and good products. Upon the return of the trainees from China, governor Okezie Ikepeazu said the state would procure the full range of equipment required to set up a modern fully equipped shoe factory in the state. The governor added that the youths would form the nucleus of the workforce in the shoe factory which shall be launched before the middle of the year.

5 killed in Lagos-Ibadan expressway accident The Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, has said that five persons died and 13 others injured in an accident that occurred on the Lagos-Ibadan expressway on Sunday. Clement Oladele, Ogun Sector Commander of FRSC, told the News Agency of Nigeria in an interview in Ota, Ogun State, that the accident occurred at Wazobia, at about 9.00 a.m. Mr. Oladele said that two vehicles and eighteen persons were involved in the accident that resulted in the death of five persons while 13 others sustained various degrees of injuries. The sector commander explained that a commercial bus with registration number MGD 129 ZF coming from Ibadan to Lagos, lost control and veered off the road and collided with a trailer with registration number DDA 121 XA that was parked by the road side. “The corpses of the victims had been deposited at the mortuary in Ipara General Hospital, while the survivors are also receiving treatment at Sagamu and Victory Hos...

Wole Soyinka Blames Buhari For Fuel Scarcity, Says He Promised To End Fuel Scarcity In 1978 Professor Wole Soyinka is worried by the unnecessary hardship fuel scarcity is causing Nigerians. The Nobel laureate in a statement released yesterday recalled how Buhari promised to deal with the situation during a similar fuel crisis in 1977. Woman Accidentally Bites Off Husbands Testicles During Aggressive Lovemaking. A man in Taiwan was reportedly rushed to hospital on Boxing Day after his wife chewed off one of his testicles during an aggressive lovemaking session. When paramedics arrived at the couple’s home, they apparently saw the 51-year-old man, surnamed Wang, wearing a robe and holding his severed testicle in a rice bowl while the wife repeatedly explained: ‘I accidentally bit it off!’ Taiwan news website Apple Daily reported that the mans’ right ball had been ripped off by his wife surnamed Hsieh, 49. Hsieh called an ambulance to the home at around 2am on December 26. Apple Daily reported that Wang works at a car repair shop. He and Hsieh have married for many years and have two children. Yusuf Buhari Remains In Coma As Doctors Discover Additional Injuries Yusuf Buhari, the son of Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari who was hospitalized in Abuja after a ghastly motorbike crash has not regained his ability to speak but doctors handling his treatment said he is gradually showing sign of recovery. Yusuf Buhari  Yesterday, the younger Buhari who sustained a head injury and a broken limb indicated to doctors repeatedly about his hand. A check on the hand showed it was fractured, leading doctors to embark on immediate treatment. A presidency source told Saharareporters that since Yusuf was admitted to Cedarcrest Hospital in Abuja he has not regained his speech due to traumatic brain injury. Yusuf was drag racing with a friend, Bashir Gwandu when they both crashed in Gwanripa neighborhood in Nigeria’s federal capital, Abuja. Gwandu was also critically injured and remain in critical condition.
